WHY AM I FACTORY SECOND AND DRY USE ONLY:
This crock has crazing visible to us which means it cannot be used for wet food use or storage. Crazing is a glaze defect of glazed pottery and some methods cause this effect on purpose! It is a spider web of fine cracks in the glaze due to many factors including coming out of the kiln too early and getting cool air exposure too fast. But we only care for totally sealed glaze for fermenting purposes so any crock which has crazing is for dry use only. These crocks are still beautiful collector pieces and many of our customers use them as kitchen counter décor anyhow! So if you're a collector of beautiful handmade Polish pottery, these are a steal of a deal for you! And once they are gone, they are gone! Final sale items only.
This Pot/Fermenting Crock is from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec Pottery Factory in Poland. The more intricate pattern is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face, especially those who love green! Gingham flowers pattern tends to bring a lot of ooh's and ahh's out of people when they see it. Timeless patterns like these fit into most kitchen décor. Our line of custom made crocks can inspire most to start fermenting, with a crock this beautiful, it must be filled with fermenting hot sauce, kimchi, mini pickles etc. When not in use, even little biscuits or chocolates should be in there, any excuse to have it out on the counter! Beautifully handmade at every stage of the pottery process in Poland.
